Individuals Organisations For Artists About Book a call

For Artists

Good at the work.
The career around it is harder.

Direction, revenue, burnout, momentum. These are where artists get stuck. That is what we work on.

Most artists I work with have the same problems.

They are not struggling with the work itself. They are struggling with everything that has to happen around it.

By the end of our work together, here is what shifts.

A plan you actually believe in

Not a vague direction. A specific plan with priorities set, decisions made, and milestones that are real. You know what the next phase looks like and you have started moving on it.

Revenue with a structure

What you charge, how you generate income, and how to make it more consistent. The financial side stops being something you avoid and becomes something you can actually manage.

The mental load lightens

Not because the challenges disappear. Because you know which ones are worth your energy and what to do about each one. That clarity makes a bigger difference than most people expect.

Music studio

I have spent 12 years working inside the creative industries.

As an artist manager, a music business consultant, and a lecturer at BIMM University Dublin, I have worked with artists at every stage. I have seen what holds careers back. The business decisions no one teaches you. The mental weight of trying to sustain a creative life alongside the rest of your life. The gap between talent and what it actually takes to build something lasting.

I became an ICF-accredited executive coach because I kept seeing the same pattern. The art was not the problem. The thinking, the planning, and the structure around it were. Coaching is the tool that addresses that directly.

I am not a general coach who lists artists as a niche. I understand the industry you work in, the pressures that are specific to it, and what good support for a creative career actually looks like.

What we work on

01

Burnout and creative block

You have lost the momentum. The work feels hard in a way it did not used to. Projects pile up and nothing gets finished. The creative energy is there somewhere but you cannot access it.

We work out what is actually happening, separate what you can control from what you cannot, and build a path back to the work. Not through rest alone. Through getting clear on what has to change.

Good for: Artists who have hit a wall. Creative block that will not shift. The feeling that you have lost the thread of why you started.

02

Revenue and income

You are doing the work but the money is not consistent. You do not know what to charge, when to raise your rates, or how to build more stable income without compromising what you care about.

We build a structure that works for you specifically. What you offer, what it costs, and how to make it sustainable. The financial side of a creative career is a skill. It can be learned.

Good for: Artists ready to take the business side seriously. Building income streams. Getting clear on pricing and what a sustainable practice actually looks like.

03

Direction and the next phase

New project with no clear plan. Career at a crossroads. A goal you keep moving. You know something needs to shift but you are not sure what, and there is no one to think it through with who actually understands the situation.

We get specific about what you want to build, break it into steps, and start moving. By the end you have a plan with dates, priorities, and a clear first action.

Good for: Artists launching something new. Those at a crossroads between what they have been doing and what they want to do next.

Simple. No jargon. Led entirely by you.

02

We agree the focus

You set the agenda. No coaching framework imposed on your life. We identify what is actually in front of you. The direction, the block, the goal, the decision you have been putting off. That is what we work on.

03

Sessions begin

60 minutes, online, every two weeks. Fully confidential. Each session builds on the last. We track what has shifted and what needs attention next. The work is led by you from start to finish.

04

Things move

Most clients feel a real shift by session three. Decisions that were stuck get made. Clarity that was missing shows up. By the end of an engagement, momentum is there and you know what comes next.

What clients say after working together.

"Eoin offers clear, practical support for turning creative ambition into professional direction. As a multidisciplinary artist I often find it difficult to balance creative development with the practical and professional side of sustaining an arts career. Eoin helped me think clearly about goal setting, networking, communication, and how to position my work within a wider professional context."
Martin Della Vechia Multidisciplinary artist
"Eoin has mentored with Minding Creative Minds for a number of years. He brings real breadth of experience to every one on one conversation, and always makes it relevant to the person in front of him. He goes the extra mile, for the mentees he works with and for MCM itself."
Dave Reid Founder, Minding Creative Minds
"I really recommend reaching out to Eoin. This industry is really tough and Eoin took the time to listen to me and weigh in on my project during a time when I felt overlooked. Eoin is professional, passionate about what he does and above all, a very kind human! If you're looking for someone knowledgeable to help you out who truly wants to see you succeed, Eoin is your guy!"
Cry Baby Amy Musician
"Eoin inspires people who want to lead in their sector to be the change they want to see. His active participation approach has yielded strong results for hundreds of creative industries professionals and his experience in ultra-competitive sectors means he understands how to develop the right mindset in those who wish to grow."

Things people ask before getting in touch.

Start with a free 30-minute call. There is no commitment and no sales pitch. If after that conversation it is not the right fit, I will tell you. The only way to know is to have the conversation.

A manager drives your career. A therapist works through your past. A mentor shares their own experience. A coach works with you on your thinking, your goals, and the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Coaching does not replace any of those things. It does something different, and for many artists it fills a gap that nothing else reaches.

No. My background is in music and the performing arts but the problems that bring artists to coaching, direction, revenue, burnout, momentum, are not specific to one discipline. If you are making work seriously and are at a growth stage in your career, we can work together.

Pricing is discussed in your initial call so we can work out what makes sense for your situation before you commit to anything. Most clients work in blocks of six sessions, each 60 minutes, held every two weeks. Sessions are remote.

No. All sessions are remote. Clients are based in Ireland, the UK, and further afield. Location is not a barrier.
