About
Eoin Sandford · Executive Coach
Friends, colleagues and people I worked alongside in marketing and music kept having the same conversations, about burnout, about performance, about not knowing what to do next. I recognised them because I had been through both myself.
When I reached a turning point in my own life and career, I had decisions to make and could not see my options clearly, so I worked with a coach. Within a session or two, something lifted. I felt more positive about where I could go and I knew which actions would get me there. I trusted my own decisions more, and I was clearer on what I wanted.
It landed hard because I had already seen what good coaching can do for other people. Early in my career in London I coached executives on social media and digital marketing, and back in Dublin I started lecturing at BIMM and mentoring at Minding Creative Minds. Watching clients, students and mentees get real results is what made me passionate about this work. Being on the receiving end showed me how it feels.
It also changed what I think coaching is. People tend to expect one of two things: someone telling them what to do, or someone nodding along while they work it out alone. I do not think either one works. Advice builds dependence, and listening on its own does not help much when you are stuck. Good coaching is active. I give you space, an outside view and the right questions to get past your own blind spots, and I will challenge you when it helps. What I am best at is listening, guiding, and helping you break a problem into pieces so the options you actually have come into view.
I bring 15 years in marketing, in large and small organisations, with clients including American Express, Coca-Cola, Adobe and Hewlett Packard. I have run workshops, lectured and mentored, and I know burnout and performance pressure from the inside. I am an accredited Symbiosis Executive Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation, and I am working towards my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.
Client feedback has informed me that I am easy to talk to, that I ask the right questions, and that I am good at putting structure around complex problems. Leaders and artists have more in common than you would think. Both work hard, have experience across a lot of areas, and are competitive and focused on goals. If you are at a point where you know something has to change but you cannot yet see the way through, book a free discovery call and we will talk it through.

How I approach it
You set what we work on. I do not arrive with a predetermined structure to impose on your situation. The session goes where you need it to go.
I do not tell you what to do. The right question at the right moment cuts through more than any advice could. That is not a technique. It is how coaching works.
Every session ends with something concrete. A decision made, a clarity reached, a next step that is yours. Insight without action is just an interesting conversation.
A free 30-minute discovery call. No commitment. Just a conversation.
